University of Lahore Hospital and UCMD successfully organised the Obesity Symposium 2026 on 10 June 2026 with the support of Getz Pharma. The event brought together healthcare professionals, academic leaders, consultants, and medical students to explore the growing challenges of obesity and metabolic disorders and discuss evidence-based approaches to prevention, treatment, and long-term management.
The symposium commenced with an inaugural address by Professor Dr Farrukh Iqbal, Head of Medicine, and was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests:
